AMP study reflection: Psalm 34:18 and Psalm 147:3 emphasize God’s nearness to the brokenhearted and His tender care for wounded spirits. Understanding grief can help us recognize that comfort may come gradually, one step at a time.

Grief is a process and cannot be healed immediately. Grievers must go through all the magnified emotions that surface during this period of grief.

AMP study reflection: Matthew 11:28 and John 14:27 offer rest and peace to the weary. This comfort does not require grief to be hurried or denied; Christ meets us while we carry it.
